Other AbstractCotton-fiber-like TiO2 with Pt anchored (CFT-Pt-0.9) was fabricated by using cotton as the template. The hydrogen evolution rate of CFT-Pt0.9 is 4698 mu mol.h(-1).g(-1) under simulated sunlight irradiation. The photocatalytic activity of CFT-Pt-0.9 is higher than pure CFT, P25-Pt-0.9 and HT-Pt-0.9. The higher photocatalytic efficiency of CFT-Pt-0.9 may attribute to higher charge separation efficiency and charge transfer rate, which are caused by Schottky junction interface and large interface area.
