Soil-Atmosphere Co2, Ch4 and N2o Fluxes from a Peatland in the Continuous Permafrost Zone, Northeast China

其他摘要Emissions of CH4, CO2 and N2O from peat land soil have important implications for the atmospheric greenhouse gases balance. Till now, little is known about the patterns and controls of greenhouse gas from peatland soil where lied by permafrost in Northeast China. In the present study, soil GHG fluxes were observed over three years from a peatland in Great Hing'an Mountains. The results show that pronounced seasonal variation was observed in soil CH4 and CO2 fluxes during the measurement periods, but was not appeared in soil N2O fluxes. Seasonal dynamics of CO? emissions were strongly regulated by air temperature and soil temperature at 5 cm. On seasonal scale, the Q(10) of soil CO2 in spring was much higher than other seasons, which implied more CO2 emission to atmosphere under spring warming. We also found a negative relationship between soil CO2 fluxes and water table depth, with the emissions decreasing as water table approach to soil surface. The annual emissions of greenhouse gas from peatland soil were 641.13 g m(-2) yr(-1) for CO2, 0.65 g m(-2) yr(-1) for CH4 and 29.7 mg m(-2) yr(-1) for N2O, respectively. Our results suggest that peatland soil CO2 emission was more sensitive to climate change, especially warming.
